Course description

This course provides a practical understanding of ISO 29001:2020, the sector-specific Quality Management System standard for organizations in petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas supply chains. Participants learn how to establish and maintain processes that reduce operational risks, strengthen supply-chain performance, and ensure product and service conformity in high-risk environments. The course addresses process-based thinking, defect prevention, variability reduction, and critical quality controls required for equipment, materials, and services used in oil and gas operations. Trainees will gain the ability to align ISO 29001 requirements with ISO 9001 principles to enhance regulatory compliance, reliability, safety, and long-term operational excellence.
